Welcome to an Evening with Mats Lederhausen!
Join us for a unique opportunity to hear Mats Lederhausen share his perspective on the profound changes shaping our world - and to inspire us all to find more meaningful ways to contribute to the future we want to leave for the next generation. Mats will also reflect on the role Swedish values can play as we consider the kind of leadership needed in an increasingly complex and rapidly evolving global landscape. We invite you to be part of this engaging and thought-provoking conversation, with time dedicated to questions and dialogue. The event will be held at the stunning David Rubenstein Forum, with drinks served by BARDAVID, a restaurant with modern Mediterranean-influenced cuisine. We are sincerely grateful to the University of Chicago for their generous support in providing this exceptional venue. Beverages and salads from Picadeli will be provided by Andas. We thank them for their generous support!

Want to know more about the Scandinavian golf classic and the Les Nelson trophy? The Swedish American Chamber of Commerce, Chicago, used to be called MASTA before it got its current name. During their time as members of the organization, the avid golfer Les Nelson and his wife initiated an annual golf tournament. For many years the event was held at the Itasca Country Club. Later on, when SACC Chicago and the Swedish Consulate started hosting interns from Sweden, it was decided that the proceeds from the Golf Outing would go to support the interns to give them the opportunity to live and work in Chicago. In 2000, the now existing Les Nelson Trophy was handed out to the winning team for the very first time. Every year the winner's name is engraved on the trophy plaque. Les Nelson and his wife have now passed away, but it is thanks to them that the Golf Outing is still one of SACC Chicago's most celebrated social networking events and that the trophy is awarded to the winning team.
